First of all Ballon d’or is an individual award, for example in 2007 Messi came 2nd at votes ahead of Cristina without winning a trophy and just with 20 goals.
2008-Cristina he won Cl which was enough, though 08 was year when messi was already one of the best.
2009-Messi, most assists, la-liga & CL. You are crazy here.
2010-Messi,Pichici,La-liga, most assists & individually best.
2011-Messi, youre right.

Whats the difference, Messi decided el clasico in december. We depended too much on Messi and just waited him to do 10/11 cl semi final runs. We really needed Abidal, Afellay & Villa.
