Ronaldo Recieved Red Card just after most famous Football award

The star of Real Madrid and the player who was recently awarded with the 2014 Ballon d’Or has been handed a 2 game suspension after the Portuguese received a direct red card during Real Madrid’s 2-1 La Liga victory over Cordoba.

At the 82nd minute of the league match, Cristiano Ronaldo started to get frustrated as he failed on making an impact in the game and at this point, the scoreboard was displaying 1-1 which is something that the players of Real Madrid did not want to see as a triumph was the only option if they wanted to maintain their advantage of points in the Spanish League over their rivals Barcelona.

In a heated moment, Cristiano Ronaldo kicked and raised his hand to hit the defender of Cordoba Edimar and the referee decided to give the Portuguese player a straight red card which was the appropriate decision.

C.Ronaldo will now be missing out from Real Madrid’s upcoming league matches against Real Sociedad and Sevilla due to the suspension that he received from his aggressive actions which were displayed on the pitch.

The 29 year old player will still be able to make it back just in time for Real Madrid’s approaching league game against Athletic Madrid which is scheduled to take place on February 7.

Carlo Ancelotti now has to find a way to deal with the absence of his star player who has managed to score 36 goals in 31 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions for the Spanish club in this season. The Italian coach has plenty of talented players at his disposal on the sidelines of the team which is good news for a team that does not want to drop any points and secure the league title in this season as well as go on and win more major trophies.
