RONALDO AWARE OF IMAGE

The Real Madrid attacker Cristiano Ronaldo has said that he is aware of the fact that people have a bad image about him, and that bad image could come to haunt him when the FIFA Ballon d’Or award winner is announced shortly. The FIFA Ballon d’Or award is one of the prestigious awards given to the best player in the world. The striker Ronaldo has already been the recipient of this award once in his career when he was playing for Manchester United. However, since then, he has been completely overshadowed by the Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi.

Cristiano Ronaldo, however, is confident that he will be able to win this year’s title because of the fact that Lionel Messi has not been hugely successful last season in terms of trophies. One hand, Cristiano Ronaldo has been able to claim the la Liga title for the first time since his move to Real Madrid and also get Portugal to the semifinals of the Euro 2012. He has scored more than 50 goals in all competitions for club and country. Despite these achievements, Ronaldo is fearful that the bad image people have about him could come to haunt him when the winner of this award is announced.

“I don’t want to cry about that, but sometimes I think yes. Why? It’s question that I never give the 100% right answer, because sometimes I really don’t know. Maybe I agree, I have bad image on the pitch… because I’m too serious, but if you really know me, if you are my friend, if I leave you inside my house, if you share the day with me, you will know I hate to lose,” said Cristiano Ronaldo. Recently, the Portuguese international said that he would vote for itself because he has been extremely satisfied with his last season.
